Our Spring 2010 Report.....
Did I mention the wedding?  Our Granddaughter Ashley (I have a married Granddaughter <sigh>)   Anyway, she Married Scottie Rich here in August.  The happy couple now lives here.  The event is well documented on our family page if you'd like to see the pictures.
June 5,2009 - We started out June with a Bang.    We hosted the "Bulldogs" little league baseball team from the Archdale Parks and Recreation department for their awards picnic.  The Kids swam, some of them went fishing, the parents socialized and everyone had plenty to eat.  All in all everyone had a great time as evidenced by the pictures.  You can check them out in the slide shows below. 
 - Let us start the summer in the office.  We've decided to take Fishing more seriously than in the past so we now offer a live bait shop as well as a dedicated place to pay when you visit.  We now offer a facility that is worthwhile to our customers including Bait, equipment rental, and whatever else you tell us add.  Beginning now, we are ready for you at the Fishin' Place pictured to the right.  All you have to do is come to the window and right the bell.  Holly will greet you and if there's anything you need, please let us know.
You may have noticed we are making changes to our sign out front.  It isn't finished yet so I don't want to show you a half completed sign but we think it is an improvement.  It was made necessary because the wind destroyed our old one over the winter. 
We were recently honored with a visit from Sigrid's brother Col. Walter Ernst and his wife Carol.  They are wonderful people who now live in Colorado Springs Co, and on their way to visit our nation's Capitol.  To tell you the truth, we were having so much fun while they were here we plum forgot to take a lot of pictures, but I did find these and I promised a few members of our family I would post the shots so they could catch up.
