To the left, we have the members of the "woods' Lake Navy who actually live here. Three of them were brought here by someone as a group, the one bringing up the rear, showed up here about a year later, aparently when that little duck someone got for Easter, grew up. Fortunately they ae all female, which means every spring we are up to our armpits in duck eggs, if there was a male we would be up to our armpits in baby ducks. Don't worry though, Nala LOVES duck eggs. Unfortunately they give her a case of (how can I put this nicely) "the green apple quick step"?
When the first three got here, Names evolved for all of them. There's "WLD* Martha Aflac" (named after "Martha" Washington), "WLD* Watership Down" (feathers?), and of course, the "WLD* Waddle Canal". No, to be honest I can't tell you which is which, but at least they have names.

We had a fourth duck here (pictured above and to the right) but she seems to have disappeared. Sadly I can't give you a clue what happened to her. She may have waddled off and got herself run over, or someone could have taken advantage of a "free duck dinner" given the fact that she was someone's pet before she came here, I simply don't know. Anyway the little suggestion box I put up to give her a name seems pointless now but I thought you might want to know.
