We added a weather observation station to our web site. The information obtained from that weather station is uploaded to our web site every 10 minutes around the clock. That information is located on our Fishing page which can be reached from the main page. There you will find historical and current weather information gathered right here, sunrise and sunset times (since that's when we open and close), information about the moon, heat stress readings, historical data, forecasts, radar and more. The site is as complete as we can make it but if you think of anything we have omitted, please tell us and we'll try to add it. We are also uploading data to www.WeatherUnderground.com . Weather Underground is a weather forecasting web site which as part of it's formula for determining the weather, includes private weather stations like ours. These weather stations (over 19000 of them world wide deliver their information via the Internet to a central point from which forecasts are made. When you log on and enter your zip code, weather underground selects the nearest weather station to you and uses those readings as the current readings for your area which should give you better information about what is going on at your back door. If you live in the triad area it will also give you a reading from our station here in Archdale.
Along with the links to Weather Underground, National Weather Service, weather.com and Accuweather already on the site, we have tried to give you as much current information as we can. If you have any questions, or comments, please feel free to use this link to contact us. Perry This page last modified on Tuesday, March 02, 2010 |
