Fishing Rates: Adults are $5.00 per Day Senior Citizens are $4.00 per day Youngsters 9 through 17 are $4.00 per day Children 8 and under fish Free when accompanied by a paying adult (We figure anyone with the fortitude needed to manage "sub 8 year olds" on a fishing trip deserves a break, and the kids would probably appreciate the therapeutic benefits derived from drowning a worm as well!
We also offer an assorment of live bait including Minnows in two sizes (Crappie and Bass), Crickets, worms, carp and catfish bait.
You can also rent tackle and chairs by the hour. There is a deposit required on these items which is refundable when the rented items are returned. Admission rates cover the entire day, or any portion you'd care to use. Feel free to go and come as you please. If you discover you left something at home, go get it, or you decide to go get something to eat, you're paid up for the entire day. We just want to keep pricing simple. We are not trying to make tons of money from of the lake, we just want those who use it to help keep it up. In the interest of simplicity and in an affort to be fair, there are no half day rates, no evening rates, no morning only rates. We once considered half day rates but we would have had to charge more to eveyone to do that because of the extra expense needed to keep up with it. So, we decided to keep it simple. It's easier to the individual to decide just how much of the day they care to use. We do offer fishing discounts to parties of 10 fishermen or more. Get details on that at the office. A word about Night Fishing: Presently, we have no lights to safely allow night fishing. The costs of operating the lights alone double what it costs us to do business during the day. We do occasionally allow trusted individuals to fish at night as long as the parties involved understand the risks and assume responsibility for their own safety. So, If you are interested in night fishing, call us at 336-434-6582 or talk to us in person when you visit. Let us know when you plan to fish at night and we'll try to accommodate you. As stated, permission to fish at night is granted on an individual basis, occasionally it isn't possible for one reason or another but we'll listen, and try to do anything we can to make you happy.
